It really was a special Installation meeting, from start to finish.

With the Deputy Provincial Grand Master in attendance, W Bro Nick was installed as Worshipful Master this evening in a tag-team ceremony between W Bros Tony and Paul (pictured with the WM)

Our first first-time master for 9 years took everything in  his stride: from an impeccable recitation of the Obligation as Master Elect, through flawless appointment of his officers, to an efficient set of risings and close of the lodge with plenty of time for drinks before dinner.

Our new ceremonial team is all light blue! They showed off their talents and enthusiasm with proper presentations of the Working Tools of all 3 degrees to the WM and a well-drilled set of perambulation.

Past Masters were on-hand to deliver the addresses to the Master, Wardens and Brethren, and our Directorial team ensured the ceremony went like clockwork.

With 25 visiting brethren, the festive board was well attended. Good food, convivial conversation, and entertaining speeches were enjoyed by all. The highlight was surely “The Master’s Song” given impromptu and a cappella by Paul and Peter to the great surprise and delight of all present who joined in the choruses with gusto.
